The advantages of membership rest with the strength of an Association which represents the interests of residents, the staff and owners.  Our strength enables us to continue to be directly involved in the planning and implementation of services by our colleagues in social services and the PCT, locally, regionally and nationally so negotiating with one powerful voice.


We also work with Care Quality Commission, the local councils and NHS-PCTs to raise standards and encourage training and development of staff.

Also as a member of the DCHA you will be able to utilise the FREE listing on our website and have the ability to update your own listing with your website address and pictures of your home, you can also advertise jobs and bed vacancies.
